Fraud Incident Data Scientist

PayPal is seeking a Fraud Incident Data Scientist to join their Fraud Incident Response & Management (FIRM) team within the Global Investigations' Fraud & Insider Defense organization. This role combines data science expertise with fraud investigation to protect PayPal's global payment network. As a Fraud Incident Data Scientist, you'll leverage advanced analytics to identify and mitigate complex fraud patterns across PayPal's platforms. The position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of financial technology and cybersecurity, using data-driven approaches to combat sophisticated financial crimes.

The role requires strong technical skills in SQL, programming, and data visualization, combined with an understanding of fraud patterns and financial crime.
