Platform Database Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Platform Database Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The role focuses on providing the best financial services to users in Japan through efficient, stable, and optimized storage services. As a Platform Engineer specializing in databases at scale on mission-critical systems, you'll be responsible for crucial database operations, including monitoring, configuration management, upgrades, scaling, backup, and data migration.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with major database systems, particularly Oracle or MySQL, along with strong AWS expertise. You'll work with modern technologies including Python, Shell scripting, various SQL flavors, and cloud infrastructure tools. The position offers an opportunity to work in a flexible environment with a hybrid work arrangement based in Tokyo, though remote work from anywhere in Japan is possible.
