Platform Engineer

PayPay Card is seeking a Cloud infrastructure and platform engineer for their cloud system. This role will be responsible for engineering Cloud Infrastructure Platforms to provide robust, reliable, and cost-efficient solutions for delivering the best experience to their growing customer base. The ideal candidate will architect and build scalable infrastructure, work on AWS deployments, and collaborate with security engineers to ensure a secure infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

• Architecting and building robust, scalable, and stable infrastructure
• Designing infrastructure that is easily maintainable during patching and upgrades
• Creating infrastructure with AWS regional level failure tolerance
• Collaborating with security engineers to provision secure infrastructure
• Implementing automations for AWS deployments and resource provisioning

The tech stack includes various AWS services, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Atlantis, ArgoCD, and OpenTelemetry.

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of technical experience in Cloud-based Infrastructure Platform
• Expertise in designing and troubleshooting large-scale streaming systems using Kafka
• Experience with NoSQL/KVS datastores like DynamoDB, Opensearch/Elasticsearch, and Redis
• Proficiency in Cloud infrastructure and platform systems management
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and IAC tools
• Linux and system administration experience
• Skills in Python, Shell scripting, and Go/Rust
