Platform Engineer (DB Specialist)

PayPay Card, established in 2021, is a FinTech company that integrates with the PayPay payment platform to provide accessible and convenient FinTech services. As a Platform Engineer (DB Specialist), you'll be responsible for database operations, troubleshooting, and improving the efficiency and stability of mission-critical systems. Key responsibilities include database monitoring, configuration management, scaling, backup, and data migration. You'll also contribute to documentation, research new tools, and adopt them in PayPay Card's ecosystem.

The ideal candidate should have:

• 5+ years of DBA experience with at least 3 years in ORACLE or MySQL
• 3+ years of AWS experience
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC - terraform)
• Familiarity with shell scripting and programming languages like Python
• English business proficiency

The tech stack includes Python, Shell, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, AWS, GitHub, and Terraform. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Aurora, and AWS RDS for ORACLE is preferred.
