Security Engineer

PayPay Card Product Security team is seeking experienced infrastructure security engineers to lead improvements in infrastructure and operational security, and introduce key security solutions. The role involves analyzing security risks, designing and implementing security measures for the product infrastructure environment, improving observability and monitoring for security events, and assisting infrastructure teams in prioritizing security goals. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of modern infrastructure solutions, security challenges, and threats. The team's mission is to empower product teams by building frictionless security guardrails, lead initiatives to improve security, and provide security education opportunities in the Technology Division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze security risks relevant to the production infrastructure
• Design, implement, and run security measures for various domains (e.g., access control, CI/CD, cloud security, container security)
• Improve observability and monitoring for security information and events
• Assist infrastructure teams in prioritizing security goals and implementing secure solutions
• Participate in major infrastructure projects as a security expert

Tech Stack:

• Infrastructure runs on AWS and managed by Terraform
• Code is managed on GitHub
• Backend services use Kotlin + Spring Boot, with some existing services in Java+Spring Boot and Java EE
