Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer

PayPay Card, established in 2021, is a FinTech company that integrates with the PayPay payment platform to provide accessible and convenient services. The Product Security team at PayPay Card is looking for experienced infrastructure security engineers to lead improvements in infrastructure and operational security. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of modern infrastructure solutions, including Kubernetes, public clouds, databases, and message brokers, as well as understanding the associated security challenges and threats.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyzing security risks in production infrastructure
• Designing and implementing security measures for various domains (access control, CI/CD, cloud security, container security, etc.)
• Improving security monitoring and incident handling
• Assisting infrastructure teams in prioritizing and implementing secure solutions

The tech stack includes AWS managed by Terraform, GitHub for code management, and a mix of Kotlin and Java for backend services.

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of infrastructure security experience
• Experience with cloud and microservice-based systems (preferably AWS)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and leading security solution projects
• Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure and strong teamwork skills

Preferred qualifications include programming skills, Linux understanding, DevOps/DevSecOps experience, and Japanese language skills.
