With the vision "OUR VISION IS UNLIMITED_", PayPay aims to create a future beyond imagination, maintaining a Day 1 mindset. The company is seeking professionals passionate about promoting cashless payments and financial life platforms in Japan at an unparalleled speed.

The Corporate Engineering department at PayPay is responsible for in-house development of business systems supporting all areas of PayPay, including merchant, customer, and authority domains. With the mission "Contributing to the company's growth through technology", they drive development and operational efficiency at an overwhelming pace. • Simple coding using Scala, CQL, and Python.
  • Comprehensive involvement from negotiating with other teams, determining specifications, to development, testing, monitoring, and operation.

Past projects include creating anti-social force determination API for eKYC, building systems to block transactions from suspicious users likely to be ATO (Account Takeover), and constructing judgment systems for blocking high-value payments and charges under specific conditions.

The development environment includes AWS, GCP, Scala, Python, Azkaban, Zeppelin, and Maquette (a proprietary SaaS product utilizing Kafka, Spark, and Cassandra).

The ideal candidate should align with PayPay's 5 senses, actively pursue learning and knowledge acquisition, and have the motivation to improve overall system development efficiency and productivity, not just technical skills.
