Description For Risk Management System Engineer

PayPay, a rapidly growing fintech company launched in 2018, has achieved remarkable success with over 65 million users and a diverse team from 50 different countries. We're seeking a Risk Management System Engineer to join our Corporate Engineering team, where we focus on developing internal systems that support all areas of PayPay's operations including merchant, customer, and authority domains.

The role involves developing and maintaining risk assessment APIs within the PayPay app, focusing on fraud prevention while ensuring user-friendly experiences. You'll be working with technologies like Scala, Python, and various AWS/GCP services, while utilizing our proprietary SaaS product that incorporates Kafka, Spark, and Cassandra.

As a Risk Management System Engineer, you'll be responsible for creating APIs that analyze transaction patterns and block suspicious activities, implementing eKYC anti-social force determination systems, and building detection systems for potentially compromised accounts. The position requires strong technical skills combined with business process improvement capabilities.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in custom application development, business-level Japanese proficiency, and strong communication skills. Experience in fraud prevention within internet or financial services is a plus. Responsibilities For Risk Management System Engineer
