Description For Web Frontend Engineer

PayPay, a rapidly growing FinTech company, is seeking a web frontend engineer to join their team. As a web frontend engineer at PayPay, you'll be at the forefront of changing how people in Japan use and manage their finances and business. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, building features that directly impact the payments industry. The role requires versatility and enthusiasm to tackle new challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and various tech teams to implement features
  • Contributing to the team by sharing knowledge, participating in code reviews, and providing feedback
  • Triaging, debugging, and resolving product issues

The tech stack includes TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Vue.js, React, NestJS, Express.js, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and many more cutting-edge technologies.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of industry experience developing secure web frontend applications
  • At least 1 year of industry experience with VueJS (preferred) or React
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices
  • Business level English proficiency

Additional skills that would be beneficial include experience with frontend performance optimization, iOS or Android development, designing RESTful APIs, and web hosting infrastructure.
