You'll write high-quality code, design solutions for complex problems, implement testing, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate across teams. The role requires 3+ years of experience in compiled programming languages like GO, knowledge of REST APIs, and strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities For Back End Engineer
- Write maintainable, high-quality code that solves customer pain points
- Design solutions to large, complex, and/or ambiguous problems
- Learn Pendo's coding standards and practices through code reviews
- Add input on code reviews, designs, and technical questions
- Implement unit & automated testing to accompany code changes
- Quickly troubleshoot customer issues & implement solutions
- Foster positive team discussions and decisions in epic and story refinements
- Balance competing priorities effectively
Requirements For Back End Engineer
- 3+ years experience working in a compiled programming language such as GO
- Knowledge of REST APIs
- Critical Thinking & Problem Solving
- Experience working on a highly collaborative team
- Experience writing testable code
