Description For Senior Sales Engineer II

Pendo, a rapidly growing software company founded in 2013, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer II to join their EMEA Enterprise sales team. This role combines technical expertise with strategic sales abilities to help drive Pendo's expansion in the European market.

The position offers an attractive compensation package of £128,000 - £160,000 OTE based in London, with a hybrid work arrangement. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of helping enterprises improve their software experience, working with Pendo's innovative platform that helps companies understand and enhance product success.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of customer-facing experience, including 3+ years in pre-sales, with a strong foundation in web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs. You'll work closely with account executives to demonstrate Pendo's value proposition, conduct technical evaluations, and ensure successful implementation for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities For Senior Sales Engineer II

  • Collaborate strategically with enterprise sales organization to win business and expand offerings in EMEA
  • Craft and deliver sales presentations & demonstrations
  • Scope and execute proof of value evaluations
  • Address technical questions on technology, installation, security and data privacy
  • Gather technical requirements and validate technical fit
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams
  • Respond to RFI/RFP/Security documentation requests

Requirements For Senior Sales Engineer II

JavaScript
  • 5+ years in customer facing role with large enterprises and Fortune 500 Europe accounts
  • 3+ years of pre-sales experience
  • Experience with MEDDICC framework
  • Hands-on experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript, REST APIs)
  • Excellent presentation and product demonstration skills
  • Master of the Sales Engineering craft
  • Familiarity with digital adoption and digital transformation (preferred)
  • Experience with enterprise systems like Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, SAP (preferred)
