Responsibilities For Manufacturing Engineer Intern

  • Solve complex problems and implement innovative solutions
  • Participate in detailed root cause analysis and developing vetted solutions
  • Communicate and explain problems and solutions cross-functionally
  • Participate in production support activities
  • Lead fixture and equipment design for new designs and existing tooling
  • Test processes, equipment, raw materials, and product
  • Develop, characterize, and optimize processes using statistical techniques
  • Participate in project planning and scheduling
  • Assist with training assemblers, quality control and technicians
  • Adhere to the Company's Quality Management System (QMS)

Requirements For Manufacturing Engineer Intern

  • High school diploma and currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree program for Engineering or related technical field
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD) (Solidworks preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in drafting (ASME Y14.5)
  • Knowledge of various manufacturing techniques
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to work on site
