Responsibilities For Android Developer

  • Develop new and maintain published native Android applications linked with the company's portal
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
  • Perform unit tests and preliminary debugging
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Perform research on new technologies, tools and solutions
  • Act as second level of support for production systems users
  • Mentor and guide junior developers

Requirements For Android Developer

Java
  • Academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields
  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK and different versions of Android
  • Affiliated work experience on Android projects
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
  • Experience with HTTP, JSON and RESTful and/or SOAP Web Services
  • Experience with local data caching, threading and multitasking
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Experience working with source control systems and writing unit tests
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and intrinsic motivation
