Responsibilities For Data Platform Engineer

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable data platform solutions
  • Develop and manage data platform infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines
  • Support and manage key data platform services
  • Collaborate with Cloud team on AWS services management
  • Partner with data governance team for security and compliance
  • Define operational resilience targets and manage risks
  • Adhere to incident management procedures
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements For Data Platform Engineer

Python
Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, related certification, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data platform, cloud, or DevOps role
  • 1-2 years experience in programming (Python, Golang or Scala preferred)
  • Strong understanding of AWS services, RDS, and Kubernetes (EKS)
  • Experience with data lake or warehousing solutions
  • Proficiency in IAC and CI/CD tools
  • Experience with orchestration frameworks
  • Experience integrating data management services with BI tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing requirements
