This role is crucial in building and maintaining data infrastructure and pipelines that power their forex and CFD trading platform. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in Python/Go and various data technologies including Kafka, Redshift, and AWS services. Responsibilities For Data Systems Engineer
- Maintain and enhance data infrastructure for optimal performance and reliability
- Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines for batch and real-time processing
- Manage and monitor data systems including Kafka, Redshift, and Kubernetes
- Work with stakeholders to integrate new data sources and support existing ones
- Develop and manage automated workflows using Airflow and DBT
- Build and maintain cloud-based data infrastructure using AWS services
- Implement monitoring solutions and troubleshoot issues
- Document systems, processes, and best practices
- Improve software development practices including coding standards and CI/CD
- Participate in weekly support rotation for data engineering incidents
Requirements For Data Systems Engineer
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or related field
- Proficiency in Python and/or Go
- Experience with data streaming and batch processing technologies
- Solid experience with AWS services and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Hands-on experience with Airflow, DBT, or other workflow automation tools
- Knowledge of various data formats and table formats
- Understanding of DBMS concepts and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
