PepsiCo is seeking a Data Engineering Manager to join their Enterprise Data Operations (EDO) team in a hybrid role based in Plano, TX. This position will lead the development of large-scale data applications in cloud environments, focusing on revenue management, supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics. The role requires managing a team of data engineers while building and maintaining data pipelines, implementing best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, cloud technologies (particularly Azure), and team leadership. The position requires at least 2 days in office per week and combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to drive PepsiCo's data transformation initiatives.

- Lead and manage a team of data engineers
- Oversee data product build & operations
- Build and manage data pipelines
- Implement best practices for systems integration and security
- Collaborate with data science and product teams
- Define and manage SLAs for data products
- Create documentation and knowledge transfer
- Prototype new approaches and build solutions at scale
Requirements For Data Engineering Manager
- 8+ years of overall technology experience with 6+ years hands-on software development
- 6+ years experience with Data Lake Infrastructure and Data Warehousing
- 6+ years experience in SQL and Python/PySpark
- 4+ years in cloud data engineering experience in Azure
- Experience scaling and managing a team of engineers
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other technical fields
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks
- Strong communication and leadership skills
