Global Process Safety Senior Engineer

PepsiCo is seeking a Global Process Safety Senior Engineer to join their global engineering function based in Cork. The role will be responsible for process safety design engineering required for delivery of strategic capital agenda and key global programs.

The position involves ensuring implementation of relevant process safety requirements and establishing robust systems. Key responsibilities include providing Process Safety Engineering capability for Beverage Concentrate Manufacturing Platforms, leading design of Strategic Capital Programs, developing innovative solutions, and leveraging best practices.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of process industry experience in liquids and powders processing, extensive design & project management experience, and process safety expertise. They should have a degree in Chemical, Process, or equivalent engineering discipline.

Key technical requirements include experience with:

• Application of technical standards (Machinery Safety, Atex Directives, FM Global)
• Hygienic design
• Process safety
• Project management from concept to implementation
• Environmental, health and safety management
• Contractor and Construction Management
