Description For Maintenance & Engineering Supervisor

PepsiCo is seeking a Maintenance & Engineering Supervisor to join their Supply Chain team in Stone Mountain, Georgia. This role is crucial in ensuring equipment reliability and maximizing production line productivity across the facility. The position offers a competitive salary range of $64,300 - $107,650 and includes comprehensive benefits.

The supervisor will lead a team of maintenance professionals (mechanics/technicians) while implementing strategies to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety. Key responsibilities include deploying maintenance strategies, implementing process improvements, tracking metrics, and ensuring proper utilization of SAP systems. The role requires strong leadership capabilities to develop team members and handle day-to-day operational challenges.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering, business, or operations management, along with 5+ years of operations maintenance experience and 2+ years of supervisory experience. Technical skills including mechanical/electrical maintenance experience and PLC programming knowledge are preferred. The position requires regular presence on the plant floor, occasional lifting up to 40 lbs, and may involve some off-shift and weekend work.

Responsibilities For Maintenance & Engineering Supervisor

  • Ensure equipment reliability to maximize production line productivity
  • Deploy strategies in reliability that build maintenance and technician capabilities
  • Implement process improvements to drive package and flavor changeover efficiency
  • Track standard manufacturing and warehouse metrics
  • Ensure proper utilization of Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)- SAP
  • Develop team to handle day-to-day operational issues
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Build people capability through employee relations, hiring, and training

Requirements For Maintenance & Engineering Supervisor

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required (engineering, business, operations management)
  • Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred
  • 5+ years of operations maintenance experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Mechanical/electrical experience maintaining equipment
  • Understanding of PLC programming preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license
