Responsibilities For Maintenance Shift Engineer

  • Provide technical support on manufacturing shift
  • Monitor equipment and process performance
  • Lead engineering and site-wide improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with Maintenance & Manufacturing teams
  • Monitor performance of equipment and maintenance activities
  • Support Six Sigma problem solving and Root Cause analysis
  • Participate in project teams and provide technical support
  • Investigate quality related issues and customer complaints

Requirements For Maintenance Shift Engineer

  • 3rd level qualification with Engineering focus/accreditation in Chemical/Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Production
  • Minimum 3 years engineering/technical experience in manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of world class manufacturing, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement techniques
  • Experience with PLC & SCADA control systems
  • Basic engineering computer skills (MS Office/Excel/PowerPoint/AutoCAD/MS Project)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Project leadership experience
