Responsibilities For Senior Automation Engineer

  • Provide day-to-day automation and manufacturing support to business users throughout the sites
  • Play a key role in review, approval and execution of validation protocols
  • Support capital projects including conceptual design, scope of work, project schedules
  • Development and review of URS for process and automation systems
  • Support IT operations and maintenance groups
  • Create and maintain operational as-built documentation
  • Manage change control process for Automation Systems
  • Evaluate and optimize automation environment
  • Develop standard data structures for manufacturing control systems
  • Liaise with major equipment vendors

Requirements For Senior Automation Engineer

  • Engineering degree with minimum 5 years process control experience
  • Experience in Automation Validation with GAMP and cGMP
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, Wonderware InTouch, InBatch, InSQL
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple high impact projects
  • Strong work ethic and leadership by example
  • Ability to build strong relationships across PepsiCo
  • Ability to work without close supervision in team environment
