Responsibilities For Senior Manager - DevOps Engineer

  • Deploy infrastructure in Azure & AWS cloud using terraform and Infra-as-code best practices
  • Develop CI/CD workflows using tools like Kubernetes, ArgoCD/Flux, terraform, helm
  • Ensure high uptime for Kubernetes based developer productivity platforms
  • Partner with development teams on best practices for application uptime
  • Automate infrastructure and processes
  • Create documentation, runbooks, and disaster recovery plans
  • Implement and manage security protocols and threat detection
  • Lead integration of security tools within PepsiCo infrastructure
  • Participate in on-call rotation for NOC support

Requirements For Senior Manager - DevOps Engineer

  • BSc/MSc in computer science, software engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of Kubernetes experience with AKS or EKS platforms
  • 4+ years creating CI/CD pipelines
  • 3+ years of Python, bash and OOP programming
  • 5+ years deploying infrastructure to Azure platforms
  • 3+ years experience with terraform
  • 3+ years experience with Git, Gitlab or GitHub
  • 2+ years SRE experience
  • Kubernetes certifications preferred (KCNA, KCSA, CKA, CKAD or CKS)
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, Splunk
  • SQL database administration skills
