Responsibilities For Senior Manager of Software Engineering
- Create vision and guide team of engineers to build digital products across S&T priorities
- Drive partnerships with UX, Product Management, IT, Data & Analytics teams
- Develop software development strategy using industry standards
- Lead multi-discipline, high-performance work teams across remote locations
- Develop and expand DPS capabilities through customer-focused digital solutions
- Manage delivery impediments, risks, and issues
- Interact with key business partners to recommend strategic solutions
Requirements For Senior Manager of Software Engineering
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 12+ years of software development and engineering management experience
- 4+ years of people management experience
- Hands-on expertise in React.js, React Native, and Node.js
- Full stack engineering experience with JavaScript, Java, Spring/Spring Boot
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (Azure preferred)
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and project management abilities
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
