Responsibilities For Software Engineering Manager
- Create vision and guide engineering team to build digital products across S&T priorities
- Drive partnerships with UX, Product Management, IT, and other teams
- Develop software development strategy using industry standards
- Lead multi-discipline, high-performance remote teams
- Build and mentor engineering team
- Develop digital capabilities leveraging data and AI
- Manage delivery impediments, risks, and issues
- Interact with business partners to recommend strategic solutions
Requirements For Software Engineering Manager
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 10+ years of software development and engineering management experience
- 4+ years experience with React.js and Node.js
- 6+ years experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases
- 4+ years managing developer teams
- 4+ years Agile project experience
- Strong knowledge of service-oriented architecture and REST APIs
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Experience with mission-critical, high-throughput systems
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
