The role offers a competitive compensation package of $155,000-$190,000 plus equity, working in a hybrid environment from their SoHo NYC office three days per week. As a Senior Android Engineer, you'll be instrumental in driving the development of high-quality Android applications, working with cutting-edge technologies like Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines.

Responsibilities For Senior Android Engineer
- Design, develop, and maintain a high-quality native Android application using Kotlin and modern Android frameworks
- Drive large, complex projects autonomously, from technical design to launch
- Architect reusable and scalable code using Clean Architecture principles
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and backend engineers
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers
- Build test frameworks for continuous code release
- Take ownership over QA and release cycles
- Stay up-to-date with Android development trends
Requirements For Senior Android Engineer
- BS or MS in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years proven experience in designing, building, refactoring, and releasing Native Android applications
- Strong expertise in Kotlin and Android SDK
- Deep understanding of Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Dependency Injection
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and Material Design guidelines
- Understanding of Android specific design patterns (MVP, MVC, MVVM)
- Ability to lead development of multiple features and coordinate cross-team consensus
