Description For Sales Engineer

Perforce is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their Continuous Testing team, focusing on Perfecto and BlazeMeter solutions. This role involves working with tier-1 enterprises in North America, requiring strong presentation and technical skills. The ideal candidate has experience in sales/presales engineering or strong developer skills with ambition to transition into a sales engineer role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing strategies with account executives to obtain new customers and drive expansion
  • Leading pre-sales engineering activities such as technical discovery, RFP responses, and presentations
  • Supporting marketing activities through trade shows and webinars
  • Collaborating with product management on roadmaps
  • Ensuring ongoing customer support and success

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or consulting in a SaaS environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Hands-on experience with Java programming, automation frameworks, and networking concepts
  • Self-starter with strong time management and prioritization skills

  • 3+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or consulting in a SaaS environment
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Experience in conducting demonstrations, training, professional service and managing evaluations
  • Fast learner
  • Hands-on experience in Java programming
  • Understanding of automation frameworks (Selenium/Appium, and JMeter)
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (HTTP, TCP/IP, VPN), SaaS based network & security considerations
