Senior Software Engineer - UI (Helix IPLM)

Perforce is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - UI for their Methodics team in Pune. This role is part of the Methodics IPLM division, which specializes in intellectual property lifecycle management and traceability solutions for enterprises. The ideal candidate will work in an agile product development process with a state-of-the-art CI/CD environment, embodying core values of results, teamwork, ownership, quality of work, problem-solving, and service to both external and internal customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing web client applications using modern technology stacks and intuitive user experiences
• Collaborating with Product Managers and engineering teams across EMEA, USA, and Asia
• Solving complex engineering problems while ensuring high-performance user experiences
• Mentoring junior frontend engineers
• Analyzing, researching, and developing new features
• Debugging integration and performance issues
• Maintaining and improving automated test coverage
• Building responsive and elegant web UIs

The ideal candidate should have:

• 7+ years of experience in delivering enterprise software products
• Extensive experience with JavaScript technologies, particularly VueJs or similar frameworks like ReactJS
• Strong understanding of frontend technology stack including CSS frameworks, HTML5, JavaScript, and server-side components like Node.js
• Knowledge of design patterns and standards in frontend development
• Experience in developing scalable and high-performance web applications
• Understanding of REST APIs and their integration with frontend
• Familiarity with build tools like Maven and Gradle
• Cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility expertise
• Excellent command of English, both verbal and written
• Passion for software development and quality
