Perforce is seeking a Tier 2, Technical Support Engineer with C/C++ experience to join their Global Support Team. The role involves assisting in resolving customer issues for two Static Code Analysis products: Klocwork & Helix QAC. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, capable of providing high-level customer satisfaction through world-class technical support services.
Responsibilities include:
- Being the first point of contact for customer technical requests
- Researching and resolving customer issues efficiently
- Developing technical expertise in product functionality
- Resolving database and performance issues
- Escalating cases according to procedure
- Providing feedback for process/product improvements
- Authoring technical documents for the knowledge base
- Setting up test environments to reproduce and resolve issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in Technical Customer Support
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with C/C++
- Experience with Software Tools (Salesforce, Jira)
- Working knowledge of Unix or Linux
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization
- Strong network troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and perform under pressure
