Responsibilities For Estimation / Proposal Engineer - Automation
- Develop detailed technical and commercial proposals aligned with customer requirements
- Provide innovative and technically sound solutions for complex automation and software systems
- Propose system architectures, bills of materials, and technical compliance documentation
- Prepare comprehensive bids for RFQs
- Conduct detailed cost estimation including supply, services, warranties, and product life cycle support
Requirements For Estimation / Proposal Engineer - Automation
- Strong knowledge of automation systems (DCS, SCADA, PLC, Instrumentation) and their application across utility industries
- Proven experience in preparing and submitting techno-commercial proposals and bids
- Expertise in system architecture design, bill of materials preparation, and technical compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex automation challenges
- Strong understanding of cost estimation principles, including service, supply, and product lifecycle considerations
- B.Tech or BE - Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering
