Pharmacy2U, the UK's largest online pharmacy, is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to join their team in Leeds. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a market leader that has been serving over 1.4 million patients for 25 years. The position involves working with a sophisticated Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) hosted on MS Azure SQL Server, where you'll be responsible for designing, maintaining, and enhancing data solutions. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team using SSRS and Tableau for reporting, integrating data from multiple systems and external sources. Responsibilities For Data Analytics Engineer

  • Ensuring and validating the accuracy of the Enterprise Data Warehouse
  • Improving data quality and query performance
  • Exploring and integrating new data into the EDW
  • Maintaining ETL routines and enhancing performance
  • Modernizing legacy systems
  • Partnering with Head of BI to develop reporting suite
  • Collaborating with MI/BI analysts
  • Designing and building new version of Data Warehouse
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance the EDW
  • Driving efforts to deliver insights into company performance

Requirements For Data Analytics Engineer

Python
  • Proven ability as a BI Developer/Data Analytics Engineer
  • Extensive experience of SQL/T-SQL and using SSMS, SSIS and Server Agent
  • Familiarity with Visual Studio's BI stack and ETL process
  • Knowledge of Kimball Dimensional Modelling Techniques
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with Data Lakehouse Architecture
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
  • Experience working within company and ethical regulations
  • Must have the right to live in the UK
  • Must pass DBS check
