Responsibilities For Application Security Engineer

  • Remediate application security flaws with the application security team
  • Lead security discussions with application teams
  • Perform dynamic and static application performance testing
  • Perform security requirements creation and threat modeling
  • Perform application level testing using tools like Burp Suite
  • Work with the latest OWASP frameworks

Requirements For Application Security Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience with Java, Python, .NET, or C#
  • 3+ years of experience with enterprise-wide security controls
  • Experience with Eclipse, Visual Studio, or JDeveloper
  • Experience with setting up SAML authentication
  • Ability to write Amazon CloudFormation Templates
  • Ability to manage MySQL databases
  • Ability to troubleshoot Linux Nftables and IPTables
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance
