Responsibilities For Instrumentation & Controls Engineer
- Assist in specification, installation, and commissioning of instrumentation systems
- Configure and implement control systems, including PLCs and HMI/SCADA platforms
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of instrumentation and controls
- Maintain calibration and maintenance records
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Collaborate with operations team on equipment performance
- Support process improvement initiatives
- Prepare and maintain documentation including wiring diagrams
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Work with R&D, process engineering, and operations teams
Requirements For Instrumentation & Controls Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls engineering
- Basic proficiency in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Familiarity with HMI/SCADA platforms
- Knowledge of instrumentation systems
- Understanding of process automation and control strategies
- Experience with CAD software
- Familiarity with high-temperature or chemical process environments preferred
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards
