Responsibilities For Senior Controls Engineer

  • Develop and deploy control systems using Allen-Bradley PLCs and Ignition SCADA/HMI platforms
  • Assist in the specification, installation, and commissioning of instrumentation and controls across new and existing systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly to minimize downtime
  • Contribute to the design of scalable, efficient automation solutions for high-temperature and chemical processes
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support production and R&D initiatives
  • Maintain documentation including schematics, control logic, and calibration records

Requirements For Senior Controls Engineer

  • Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering (or related field)
  • 5+ years of experience in controls engineering, ideally in industrial or process environments
  • Proficient in PLC programming (Allen Bradley Preferred) and SCADA/HMI configuration (Ignition preferred)
  • Familiar with process instrumentation (flow, pressure, temperature, chemical sensors)
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and hands-on troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced, startup environment
