As a System Delivery Engineer at PhonePe, you'll be working on:
- Linux/Unix Administration
- Networking
- Open source technologies/tools and cloud services
- IT operations for always-up, always-available services
- On-call rotation
- Linux networking (ip, iptables, ipsec)
- MySQL
- Automation/configuration management using saltstack or equivalent
- Private and public cloud environments

Additional skills that would be beneficial:
- Implementation of cloud services on linux using kvm/qemu
- DCOS (mesos & mesos frameworks)
- Aerospike (nosql)
- Perl/Golang
- Galera
- OpenBSD
- Data center related activities (rarely needed)

System Delivery Engineer

As a System Delivery Engineer at PhonePe, you'll be part of a dynamic team working on cutting-edge technology that impacts millions. The role requires expertise in Linux/Unix administration, networking, and a variety of open-source technologies and cloud services. You'll participate in on-call rotations and work with tools like MySQL, SaltStack, and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing and managing Linux/Unix systems
- Handling networking tasks, including IP, iptables, and IPsec
- Working with MySQL databases
- Scripting in Perl or Golang
- Managing automation and configuration using SaltStack or equivalent tools
- Hands-on experience with private and public cloud environments

The ideal candidate will have strong English communication skills and a passion for building scalable, customer-centric solutions. Additional knowledge in areas such as cloud services implementation, DCOS, Aerospike, Galera, and OpenBSD would be advantageous.

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at PhonePe, you will be responsible for:
- Linux/Unix Administration
- Networking
- Working with a wide variety of open source technologies/tools and cloud services
- Implementing best practices for IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
- Participating in on-call rotation
- Working with MySQL
- Automation/configuration management using saltstack or equivalent
- Hands-on experience in private and public cloud environments

Required skills:
- Strong background in Linux networking (ip, iptables, ipsec)
- Knowledge of working with MySQL
- Understanding of code and scripting (Perl/Golang preferred)
- Good English communication skills
