Senior Front-End Engineer

Phylax Systems is a tech startup focused on solving one of the most challenging problems in Web3: Security. They are building a credible security protocol for decentralized applications (DApps) on various networks by actively censoring hacks on the underlying network in participation with block builders. The company believes in open security through open-source software and tools.

As a Senior Front-End Engineer at Phylax, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, performant web applications for Phylax software products. You'll work closely with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and product managers to create a delightful user experience. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a leadership position as the company scales.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing responsive, high-performance web applications using React or other front-end frameworks
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues
• Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development

The ideal candidate should have:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related front-end technologies
• Experience with state management libraries, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous programming
• Knowledge of modern front-end build tools and testing frameworks
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Additional desirable skills include experience with TypeScript, server-side rendering, UI/UX design principles, and Agile development methodologies.
