Platform Operations Engineer

The Platform Operations Engineer role is designed to create and deliver top-tier server, storage, and trading platforms for Pico's clients and internal infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work closely with Account Management, Project Management, and Client Service Delivery teams to meet the requirements of tier-one banks and other key clients. This role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented engineer with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, deploying, and resolving escalated issues for global client server solutions
• Collaborating with internal/external clients, operations, financial exchanges, and other engineers
• Ensuring stability of all Pico-managed platforms
• Constructing and implementing valid configurations
• Supporting deployment and maintenance of servers, storage, and systems management products
• Participating in on-call rotation and daily meetings
• Providing mentoring and guidance to team members

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with large-scale bare metal solutions
• RHCE certification or equivalent knowledge
• Advanced understanding of Linux/Unix, scripting, network services, and various IT technologies
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with trading infrastructure (advantageous)

This is a hybrid position with weekly office time and work-from-home flexibility. The role may require occasional travel and the ability to work across multiple time zones including EMEA, USA, and APAC.
