Senior QA Engineer

Pico, a global company headquartered in New York with offices in Chicago, London, Singapore, and Tokyo, is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join their expanding test engineering team in Dublin. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality of Pico's high-performance, real-time analytics products.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of test engineering experience, preferably with enterprise products based on Linux, and a strong knowledge of network technologies and scripting languages. Experience in setting up network lab environments is essential.

Key responsibilities include leading test efforts for monthly releases, ensuring quality of Corvil Plug-ins for various network protocols, working within an agile development lifecycle, designing test strategies, and developing automation to reduce manual test effort.

Requirements include a BSc. in Computer Science or related field, excellent manual and exploratory testing skills, in-depth knowledge of networking protocols L2-L7, scripting ability in Python/Bash, and experience with Linux/Unix environments.

Desirable skills include hands-on experience with networking tools (e.g., Wireshark, Tcpdump), knowledge of packet crafting tools, experience with Docker containers, industry certifications like CCNA/CCNP, and exposure to performance, load, and stress testing methodologies.

This is a hybrid position offering flexibility to work from home with some time required in the office weekly. The role may involve occasional travel and requires adaptability to work across multiple time zones including EMEA, USA, and APAC.
