Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist at Pinterest, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of people-facing and business-facing products. Your expertise in quantitative modeling, experimentation, and algorithms will be utilized to solve some of the most complex engineering challenges at the company. You'll collaborate with a diverse set of cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Design, Research, Product Analytics, Data Engineering, and other teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing best practices for instrumentation and experimentation
• Bringing scientific rigor and statistical methods to product creation, development, and improvement
• Building and prototyping analysis pipelines to provide insights at scale
• Working cross-functionally to build and communicate key insights

The ideal candidate will have:

• 4+ years of experience analyzing data in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
• Extensive experience in applying scientific methods to solve real-world problems on web-scale data
• Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks
• Strong skills in SQL and scripting languages like Python or R
• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with cross-functional leadership
