Senior iOS Software Engineer

Pinterest is seeking inquisitive, well-rounded iOS engineers to join their Product engineering teams. As a Senior iOS Software Engineer, you'll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to enable the newest technologies and experiences. You'll build robust frameworks & features, empower developers and Pinners, and find creative solutions to thought-provoking problems. You'll have the opportunity to create and drive new initiatives, seeing them from inception through to technical design, implementation, and release.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building Pinner-facing frontend features in iOS
• Contributing to and leading each step of the product development process
• Partnering with design, product, and backend teams
• Suggesting new product ideas and features
• Employing automated testing to ensure technical quality
• Growing as an engineer by working on varied and high-impact projects

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of iOS development and best practices in Objective C and/or Swift
• 5+ years of industry iOS application development experience
• Experience in following best practices for reliable and maintainable code
• Ability to keep up-to-date with new technologies
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Pinterest offers a progressive work model called PinFlex, providing a flexible approach to living and working. The position is eligible for equity, and the base salary range is $145,700—$258,700 USD for US-based applicants.
