Job Duties: Build cutting edge technology using the latest advances in deep learning and machine learning to personalize Pinterest. Partner closely with teams across Pinterest to experiment and improve machine learning models for various product surfaces (Homefeed, Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search), while gaining knowledge of how machine learning works in different areas. Use data driven methods and leverage the unique properties of our data to improve Pinterest Ads Retrieval. Work in a high-impact environment with quick experimentation and product launches. Keeping up with industry trends in recommendation systems. Telecommuting is permitted.
Minimum Requirements: PhD, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Statistics, or closely related quantitative discipline, OR Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Statistics, or closely related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in job offered or related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Recommender systems; (2) Machine Learning; (3) Deep Neural Network; (4) Natural language processing; (5) Statistical Analysis; (6) Data Visualization; (7) Python; (8) Java; (9) Big data processing; (10) A/B testing; (11) Reinforcement learning. Special skills may be gained through academic coursework, scholastic achievement, or professional experience. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable.
