Description For Staff Revenue Systems Engineer

Pinterest is seeking a Staff Revenue Systems Engineer to join their IT Enterprise Systems team. This role involves building impactful products for revenue teams and evolving the technology stack to support scaling revenue functions. The ideal candidate will possess a mix of technical and business acumen, with the ability to navigate stakeholders across different business areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with a team of system engineers and analysts to build systems supporting revenue scaling
  • Evolving architecture and designing solutions for business growth needs
  • Developing and executing on a detailed product roadmap
  • Evaluating current solutions and identifying opportunities for efficiency and improvement
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders including IT, Accounting, Revenue, and Monetization product teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of systems engineering experience, with 5+ years in increasing responsibility in a global organization
  • Strong understanding of core accounting and revenue processes
  • Oracle EBS implementation experience in distribution and revenue models
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in understanding and addressing business challenges
  • Strong understanding of SOX controls and Agile methodologies

The role offers a flexible work model called PinFlex, allowing for remote work with occasional in-office collaboration (1-2 times per quarter). The position is open to candidates across the country and offers a competitive salary range of $135,150 - $278,000 USD, plus equity opportunities.
