Responsibilities For Automation Quality Engineer

  • Participate in expansion/implementation of new test framework to enable developers writing tests
  • Partner with QA analysts and software developers in understanding technical and business needs
  • Define testing strategies to ensure product quality meets industry standards
  • Coach developers on test automation and test writing
  • Drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and test automation
  • Keep updated with latest industry developments
  • Conduct quality onboarding for newcomers

Requirements For Automation Quality Engineer

JavaScript
TypeScript
Kubernetes
  • 3-4+ years of experience as an automation engineer
  • Experience in building test automation solutions and maintaining automated frameworks
  • Experience with test automation frameworks (Cypress, Jest, Mocha or Puppeteer)
  • Proficiency with at least one programming language, preferably JavaScript
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with other engineers
  • Strong communication skills and openness to feedback
  • Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and software testing skills
