Back End Developer

Pipedrive, a unicorn company from Estonia with Vista Equity Partners investment, is seeking a Back End Developer to join their Automations feature team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining one of Pipedrive's most impactful features that helps thousands of businesses automate their workflows.

The engineering team operates in independent tribes with flat hierarchies, offering developers the freedom to choose missions and maintain ownership of their work. You'll be working with a tech stack including TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, MySQL, Redis, and Apache Kafka in a Docker/Kubernetes environment.

As a Back End Developer, you'll mentor junior engineers, deliver high-quality code, conduct code reviews, and maintain automated tests. You'll be responsible for deployments, monitoring live services, and participating in on-call rotations. The role involves designing scalable systems across multiple data centers and ensuring the Automations feature remains fast and reliable as the company grows.

The ideal candidate should have strong collaboration skills, proven software development experience, and expertise with technologies like Node.js, PHP, MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Apache Kafka. Multi-data center service experience is highly valued.
