Description For Head of Product Software

Pison Technology, a pioneering company in consumer and wellness products, is seeking a Head of Product Software to lead their engineering teams. This role is crucial in developing product software that leverages electroneurography (ENG) and artificial intelligence to provide real-time insights into the body's nervous system.

As the Head of Product Software, you will be responsible for overseeing Pison's product software technology, including Platform Software, Applications, Data Engineering, and Cloud Infrastructure. You'll lead multiple teams of software, data, and platform engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful development and delivery of product software.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing product software strategy aligned with company goals
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize features
  • Overseeing mobile and cloud product software development
  • Driving innovation in product software
  • Managing the entire software development lifecycle
  • Working closely with product management to understand customer needs and market trends
  • Building and growing teams responsible for mobile/web applications, cloud infrastructure, and data engineering
  • Defining and cascading OKRs for the engineering department

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of software development experience, with 5+ years in leadership
  • Proven track record in delivering high-quality, scalable software products
  • Strong domain experience in cloud infrastructure, web/mobile applications, and data engineering
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
