As a Machine Learning Engineer at Pison, you'll play a crucial role in our growing team, working closely with the Algorithm and Research teams to develop robust, production-level Machine Learning codes and libraries for R&D efforts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology that has the potential to revolutionize human-computer interaction and healthcare.
Key responsibilities include developing ML libraries for gesture classifications, architecting ML software tools, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to model research efforts. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Python, with experience in various ML libraries and frameworks, and comfortable with cloud computing and containerization technologies.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 - $140,000 per year and a hybrid work schedule, with on-site presence required Monday through Thursday in our Boston, MA office.

Responsibilities For Machine Learning Engineer
- Develop production-level ML libraries and algorithms for gesture classifications
- Architect, design, and build ML software tools for the ALGO team
- Mentor junior-level scientists and engineers
- Review code developed by other team members
- Contribute to the ALGO team's model research effort
Requirements For Machine Learning Engineer
- BS degree in CS or related fields with industrial experience
- Fluent in Python
- Experience with Asyncio, Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Tornado or other Python web frameworks
- Knowledge of Cython, numeric code optimization, complexity analysis, and multi-processing in Python
- Experience with Git, Google Compute Cloud, and Docker
- US citizenship (mandatory due to work with the United States government)
