Description For Full-Stack Engineer

Pixelmatters is a digital product studio focused on creating top-quality digital products through a team of strategists, designers, and engineers. Their mission is to empower businesses to achieve their full potential by creating exceptional digital products while fostering great relationships. They envision a world where great user experience is the norm, not the exception.

The Full-Stack Engineer role requires a meticulous, curious, and adaptable individual who can develop scalable software solutions that balance user experience and functionality. The position involves all aspects of software development, from front-end to back-end, requiring proficiency in both areas. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with various coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries.

Key responsibilities include building user-facing products, designing and implementing databases and APIs, managing infrastructure, and writing tests. The role requires at least 3 years of experience in full-stack development or equivalent experience in front-end or back-end engineering. Technical requirements include proficiency in Ruby on Rails (or similar frameworks), database management, API design, and front-end technologies like React.

The company offers a quality-driven, inspiring work environment with competitive compensation and benefits, including health insurance. They maintain a flexible "Remote as default, Office as an option" policy, with their office located in downtown Porto. The position offers opportunities for professional growth in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional digital products.
