Experienced Software Engineer - Integrations Platform

Plaid is a leading fintech company that powers the tools millions of people rely on for a healthier financial life. We're seeking an Experienced Software Engineer to join our Integrations Platform team, which is crucial for maintaining Plaid's core product and enabling new innovations. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of defining our team's and group's reliability roadmap, working closely with product and engineering leads to improve the platform that supports thousands of financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK, and Europe.

As an Experienced Software Engineer, you'll lead quarter-to-multi-quarter long projects aimed at enhancing the reliability, cost-effectiveness, and performance of our large distributed systems. Your work will have a significant impact, touching tens of millions of end-users, top FinTech applications, and major financial institutions. You'll be responsible for driving cross-team, cross-service initiatives to overhaul our systems, dramatically improving reliability and cost efficiency.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on platform-as-a-product, where your contributions will influence the experience of numerous integrations and product teams at Plaid. You'll collaborate with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to ideate, advocate for, and prioritize key initiatives on our roadmap and those of other teams. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in mentoring and leading the team, reviewing technical design documents and code changes.

Plaid offers a competitive salary range of $182,520 - $297,000 per year, along with additional equity and/or commission opportunities.
