Experienced Software Engineer, Payment Risk Machine Learning Infrastructure

Plaid is seeking an Experienced Software Engineer to join our Payment Risk Machine Learning Infrastructure team. This role combines expertise in machine learning and infrastructure development, with a focus on building robust systems for fraud detection and risk management in the payments industry.

As a Senior Software Engineer on this team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the machine learning infrastructure that powers our payment risk assessment capabilities. You'll work closely with data scientists and other engineers to implement scalable solutions that can handle large volumes of financial data and transactions.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in both machine learning and infrastructure development, with at least 2 years of professional ML experience and 4 years of infrastructure development experience. Familiarity with payments or risk/fraud systems is a significant plus.
