Description For QA Automation Engineer

We are expanding our QA teams, and we don't care much about the title, but we call this role QA Automation Engineer. The key is experience in test automation with Python and a constant desire to keep learning.

Our vision is to build multidisciplinary teams that self-manage projects directly in an AGILE manner to find and implement the best solutions šŸ˜Š

What will you do?

  • Collaborate with the development team in defining and implementing testing and automation strategies.
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts using automation tools.
  • Execute functional and performance tests, identifying and documenting issues found.
  • Participate in the development of test plans and cases.
  • Take responsibility for software quality and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in software testing, both manual and automated with Python (at least 2 years of professional experience).
  • Knowledge of the software life cycle.
  • Exploratory testing.
  • Smoke, sanity, regression testing.
  • UI Testing (web, mobile).
  • Experience in API testing automation with Postman (highly valued).
  • Experience in UI Testing automation (Python/Selenium/Pytest...).
  • Accustomed to working in an Agile environment and using tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python).
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies and concepts, such as unit testing, integration testing, system testing, etc.
  • Team player.
