Responsibilities For Site Reliability Engineer
- Operations and maintenance of Atlassian Developer Tools
- Design, development, testing, and maintenance of API based microservices
- Program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
- Conduct technical project milestone reviews and code architecture sessions
- Analyze business functions to understand application design needs
- Develop components using test-driven development and CI/CD workflows
- Produce DevOps best practice templates and guides
- Create and maintain trusted computing components and infrastructure
- Document development efforts using code comments and project tracking
- Ensure minimal impact software deployments
- Work with internal team members and external technical personnel
- Work on off-hours schedule as needed for system updates
Requirements For Site Reliability Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
- Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
- Must be able to work in Washington, DC 5 days per week
- Demonstrated experience with Linux/Tomcat, Agile framework, and Atlassian Suite
- Experience with script writing and development
- Minimum of 6 years experience in complex server-based and API-oriented development
- Understanding of agile software design
- Full technical knowledge of applications systems analysis and programming
- Advanced knowledge of Atlassian Suite
