The role involves designing and developing custom applications within Microsoft Azure and M365 environments, requiring expertise in cloud-native development, security implementation, and Power Platform solutions. The ideal candidate will lead technical solutions, manage software projects using Agile methodologies, and implement DevSecOps practices.
Key technical requirements include 5+ years of experience with Azure and M365 development, proficiency in languages like C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and mandatory certifications including AZ-204 and PL-400. The position demands strong understanding of cloud security, REST APIs, and enterprise-level integration.

Responsibilities For Senior Application Developer
- Design, develop, and maintain custom applications within Microsoft Azure and M365 environments
- Perform system engineering, integration, and deployment under the guidance of OCIO
- Lead translation of business needs into technical solutions, including risk analysis and mitigation
- Develop secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud-native applications
- Ensure compliance with ITA ITSM standards, cybersecurity policies, and governance frameworks
- Oversee and manage software projects, including project planning, milestone tracking, and Agile development
- Build and optimize Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and optimize existing applications
- Support quality assurance, testing, and deployment processes
- Follow DevSecOps best practices, implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Requirements For Senior Application Developer
- Minimum five (5) + years of experience developing and maintaining custom applications within Microsoft Azure and M365
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Services, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and API Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 development, including SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform
- Skilled in software development languages, including C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, and PowerShell
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
- Knowledge of REST APIs, Graph API, and Azure Service Bus for enterprise-level integration
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including RBAC, IAM, and secure coding principles
- Experience working in Agile environments, using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
